In 2008, a move to Casa Grande temporarily ended Paula Guerra’s employment with Southwest Dental Anesthesia Services. But today, she is back in the saddle, handling claims and billing, scheduling services, preparing patients for their procedures, and following up – only this time from home. Equipped with a headset, computer and fax machine, Paula is happy to be interacting once again with patients, doctors, and office staff.
Born and raised in Tucson, Paula graduated from Cholla High School and Pima Medical Institute. She worked for eight years as a dental assistant before joining Dr. Caputo’s team.
When she’s not working at her home office, Paula cares for her four children and teaches aerobics classes at the local gym – roles which, one might suspect, account for the extra degree of energy and patience which characterize her work as Patient Care Coordinator.
